Are you prepared to be Naked? – Dominic Miller

Whitefox_Avatar

Ray: Dominic Miller, Sting’s lead guitar player describes his spiritual quest in the following video. He asks some profound questions. He has not found the Lord Jesus Christ as of yet on this quest but I pray that he will.

In this 5 minute clip Domonic asks these questions;

1. Might everything start with the relationship between you and a somebody or something?

2. Might you have the opportunity to recognize this and to create your own story?

3. What story is waiting to be told?

He states that the most important thing in life is not my being a musician.

In this video Dominic bears his soul and asks “Are you prepared to be naked, blemishes and all”. He refers to the outer appearance but asks about letting people know what’s inside.

The Bible has some answers for Dominic.

Jesus said that it is not the outside of the cup that is important it is the inside that matters. What is inside a person matters in the light of eternity, not their outward appearance or accomplishments.

The Bible says there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Dominic and anyone reading this post can come to know that friend, the Lord Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with him. Jesus said (in John 14) that he will prepare an abiding place for you in heaven but he asks you to prepare one for him in your life. He says that he wishes to manifest himself in your life. The answer to Dominic’s first question is that everything begins when you form this relationship with that someone, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Finding my hope

Whitefox_Avatar

Ray: God speaks to each one of us and tells us through nature, through sunshine, through special times in our lives and in dark times that He is present. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother according to Proverbs 4.8. He is the still small voice and if we quietly listen we will hear Him as the Psalmist wrote. He says “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears My voice I will come in and sup with him and he with Me” (Rev 3.20). He is a hope when we realize that we have no hope. Rob Ford, mayor of Toronto confesses

picture-3552Ray: Rob Ford said at the end of his “confession” message when he confessed publicly that he had taken crack cocaine and that he has a problem with drug addiction (meaning alcohol, the legal drug) that he wished God to Bless Toronto to which there was a roar of scoffing laughs by the sceptic journalists. Later in an interview Rob said that it was like having a “born again” experience having confessed his sin publicly. I ask Rob if he reads this to talk to God about his confessions and to seek His forgiveness and reconciliation. God can give him the real thing a true born again experience. A repentance that is not to be repented of as 2 Corinthians 5 describes it and best of all Rob can have the indwelling presence of God the Holy Spirit in his life forever and as he obeys God’s word he can manifest the son (Jesus the Christ) and the God the father in his life according to John 14. Anything of this world pales in significance to this encounter that Rob and others who read this can have with God in their lives.

Escape from Hamas

Whitefox_AvatarRay: On our next show on Truth is what matters we are going to discuss the comparison of the Quran with the Bible.

In preparation for that show I have posted a link to a fox news documentary called “Escape from Hamas”. This documentary interviews Mousaf San Yousef the son of a Hamas leader. He details how by studying the Bible and comparing it to the Quran he realized that the truth lies in the Bible and not in the Quran.

Friday 13th, 2013 – Port Dover Run

IMG_1487cRay: This is a personal interest video for those that want to see a lot of motorcycles. Every Friday the 13th tens of thousands of motorcycles converge on a small town in Ontario called Port Dover. This years event was supposedly unique because it is 2013 on a Friday 13th which fell in September. It is estimated that 100,000 people showed up to this one day event. There were a lot more motorcycles than I recorded in this video. I walked 1/2 of the main strip but motorcycles were also parked in all the side streets and for miles along another street that I did not show in the video. There was a Christian ministry giving out Bikers New Testaments www.heavenssaints.com and I saw a dozen Christians wearing Christian badges on jackets. They were outnumbered by thousands of others who where displaying their non-Christian badges, including the Hell’s Angels who apparently own this town. A Christian bike organization that I am joining has their website at www.prayerbiker.com. I look forward to using some of their badges on my vest for the next riding season (I have them on order). Enjoy the eye candy video. Ride for the Lord if you are a Christian by obtaining some Christian badges for your vest.

Take the time to listen to a tribute song that tells the story now deceased founder Barry Mayson of the Heavens Saints club had his life changed by submitting his life to Christ. (He was the ex-president of one of the Hells Angels Chapters in the USA)

A video worth watching that the Heavens Saints produces.

Pope Francis Remark about stance on gays ”Who Am I To Judge”?

BradSnell_IconBrad: From a recent article in  the Daily Brew when asked about the Catholic view on homosexuality in the church and gays being ministers, Pope Francis replied ”If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” he asked, according to the Canadian Press.

The Pope also said when someone sins but confesses’ God forgives and forgets.

This reverse about face statement was quite different in 2005 when Pope Benedict XVI signed an order that homosexual men should not be priests.

On one hand, the Catholic churches view on homosexuality is to be treated with dignity and respect but on the other hand opposes gay marriage!

Alright which will it be? You supposedly oppose gay marriages, but its okay to be in a gay relationship but must be treated with the same dignity and respect as husband and wife!

Although it’s unlikely Pope Francis will be riding on a float in a gay pride parade any time soon.

Whitefox_AvatarRay: It was Augustine (read the confessions of Augustine), the first leader in the Roman Catholic Church who decided to be celebate for the remainder of his life. This was after he lived a life of debauchery. Every prostitute knew him well prior to this decision. He decided just like Mr. Weiner of the USA that he now was going to turn over a new leaf and proof of that would be total abstinence from fornication for the rest of his life. He took it one step further. He would not marry.

Marriage is the one thing that permits sexual enactment between consenting husband and wife to be enjoyed without it being labelled as the sin of fornication. Fornication includes other sins outside of marriage including Adultery, Homosexuality, Beastiality and Incest which also includes Paedophila. Anything that the Bible classifies as a perversion from Gods ordained boundaries of sexual intimacy.

Jesus was clear that even the perverted thought life is sin. He said that to even look on a woman with lust is equivalent to committing adultery with her in his heart. So the Bible is very clear that not only must the physical life be “chaste” from sin but the thought life must also be chaste from sin.

Pope Benedict was correct in saying that homosexuals should be banned from the ministry in 1985 as the vast majority of paedophile cases in the Roman Catholic churches were cases where the abuser was a person who also identified themselves with the sin of Sodomy (Homosexuality). It was a wakeup call within Roman Catholicism that you cannot condone any form of fornication in positions of leadership in the church. Scripture is very clear on this matter that God detests fornication in all its forms.  That would include premarital sex. I emphasise this for those that wish to point the finger only at gays for their sin. Realize that the vast majority of society does not meet the mark that is required to be a leader in the church. It is not just the gays that fail to meet the mark. So don’t single them out only as if you have a form of righteousness that is acceptable to God that exceeds theirs.  However at the same time there cannot be a category of fornication that is given the green light. All sexual perversion is fornication in Gods eyes and is unacceptable to Him in positions of leadership in the Church.

1 Corinthians 5 – 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named amongst the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2  And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you….(PAUL GOES ON IN THE PASSAGE TO REPREMAND THEM FOR ALLOWING THIS FORNICATION IN THE CHURCH.)

The Bible gives a remedy for fornication as follows:

1 Cor. 7 – 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife (Gk:gunay, woman), and let every woman have her own husband. 3  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 5 Defraud you not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

The bible is clear that acting out Sodomy is an abomination. I mention this because some may say that I have failed to prove that Sodomy is one of the fornications spoken out against in the Bible. It is clearly spoken out against.

Numbers 20 – 13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination:

To avoid fornication by the priests in the Roman Catholic church they should obey the scriptural remedy for this which is to let every priest have his own wife (They are men after all). It specifically does not say that a priest should have a man. The Greek word gunay means woman but it is translated as wife in the English Bibles because it is understood to mean a woman that they are married to as opposed to an unmarried woman that every man is to have. You get that from the other scriptures and including further in this passage. A pope should issue an edict that the priests are free to marry a woman. This would put them in obedience with scripture on this point.

God is a God of change. He wants to change our lives. We have to be willing to be changed. Repentance is coming to God and admitting that we have failed to meet his holy standard of righteousness. We have missed the mark. The Bible is very clear that all of us have missed the mark. If you’ve ever stolen anything or lied you have missed the mark.

The Bible says,

Romans 3 – 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It also says,

Romans 6 – 23a For the wages of sin is death. (Spiritual separation from God).

All of us are dead in our sins.

Romans 6 – 23b But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

That gift is freely available but we must be willing to turn from our sins and turn toward Christ to ask for His forgiveness and His regeneration of our lives to make us into the kind of people that God wants us to be. Repentance means turning from self and turning toward God.

A person who does this may still be tempted occasionally by their old lifestyle. They must fight this. Just as Augustine did. In his case for him it involved celibacy but this was a personal conviction on his part that ought not to have been forced on the Roman Catholic Church leaders after him. The Bible presents the need for Christians to seek continual cleansing of sin in their thought lives and in their physical lives.

1 John 1 – 9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Cleansing is needed on an ongoing basis. If you have a desire to steal or lie. Keep praying about it and God will lessen this tendency for you. The same with any of the sins of fornication. However you will never be perfect as God is. You still have a need to have the perfection of Christ to be imputed to you and for your imperfection to be imputed to Christ. This is something you can pray for and receive if you will put your trust in Christ to do it for you. But you have to approach God with the willingness to turn from your sins towards Christ.

1 John 4 – 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (The word propitiation means substitute. His perfection is given to us to give us a free pass before God who no longer sees our sin but the perfection of Christ in us. It is our ticket to heaven that is being offered.)

A new relationship begins in us when we receive the propitiation of Christ and he begins to change our lives. Don’t let anyone tell you that a sin cannot be changed in your life. God can accomplish what psychiatrists and physicians cannot accomplish in your life.

Paedophiles Setting Curriculum for Education in Ontario (Revisited)

01ff5b7Ray: We revisited this topic which we introduced in 2012 because Ben Levin who was the Deputy Minister of Education in 2010 was arrested recently with 6 charges of Sexual Deviancy, including Paedophilia toward a minor and publishing of these materials on the internet. We point out that Kathleen Wynne (A professing Lesbian) was the minster of education and Ben Levin was her deputy minister when an attempt was made in 2010 to introduce a perverted sex education curriculum that sought to teach the children in the public schools in Ontario to experiment with using carrots and other vegetables to experience Sodomy and what its like to be a Homosexual first hand.

Also revisit our last posting on this topic in which we pointed out that part of the curriculum involved the rape of 23 children in order to find out how often they could be made to have orgasm in a 24 hour period of time.
http://truthiswhatmatters.com/2012/11/02/paedophiles-are-behind-ontario-sex-education/

We also talked about how God sees us as three part beings wheras Freud only saw two parts to our beings. We discussed how that Psychology comes short of giving the right answers because it deals with the mind only and not the spirit of man.

Hebrews 4 – 12 For the Word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the separating of soul (Gk:psyche, natural desires) and spirit (Gk:pneumos, Godward desires), and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (SKJV)

For more information about the Sex Education Scandals in Ontario we have also posted a link to a News Clip by Sun News.

Please give us your comments, especially if you live in Ontario where our children are at risk due to the questionable curriculum that potentially could be forced on them.

Pride?

01ff5b7Ray: The First time pride is mentioned in the Bible, it is mentioned in reference to the Jews. God warned them that if they did not obey his commandments incredible calamity would befall them and that they would be dispersed among all nations.

Leviticus 26 – 14 “But if you will not listen to Me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 and if you shall despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you will not do all My commandments, but that you break My covenant:” 16 “I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning fever, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set My face against you, and you shall be slain before your enemies; those who hate you shall reign over you; and you shall flee when no one pursues you.” 18 “And if you will not yet for all this listen to Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; … 33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Proverbs 16:18 also warns;

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

It seems that pride is a warning in the Bible that there is something wrong with us.

Original sin came to the earth as a result of pride. It started with the pride of Lucifer.

Isaiah 14 – 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: The worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

This sin was followed by the sin of Adam in eating of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. The temptation that Adam respond to was the offer to become like God. (Eve was tempted first). (Gen 1-3) Mankind would never have experienced death if we had not succumbed to pride.

We in Canada have a lot to be ashamed of. We are involved in a holocaust of killing of babies in their mothers wombs. Many more have been exterminated than Hitler is credited for. One of the ten Commandments is “Thou shalt not murder”. How blind we are that we do not consider this murder when we violate the womb.

The world wide flood would not have occurred if it were not for mans pride. God gave a symbol of his wrath in the flood that still exists today. It is the rainbow. God told us that he would never again in his wrath against us apply a worldwide flood. We are reminded of both God’s wrath against our pride whenever we see a rainbow and we are also reminded of his promise but he linked to that promise that he would instead destroy man with fire. So the rainbow reminds us also of future judgment by fire whenever we see the rainbow.

The bible gave us a picture of monogamous marriage between a man and a woman as something that helps us to understand our relationship with Him. God offers us the opportunity to be the Bride of Christ in the New Testament. Similarly In the case of the Jews they are offered the opportunity to be the wife of God in the Old Testament. But we are guilty of Adultery and Fornication in our society. Again we violate one of the ten commandments. “Thou shalt not commit adultery”. Jesus said to even look upon a woman with lust is to commit adultery in our heart. Fornication is a catch all phrase for sexual acts outside of marriage. By Jesus’ definition all of us have violated this commandment.

The Bible is emphatic in its message that all have sinned.

Romans 3 – 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It is not right to single out any one single type of sin over any other. The Bible is clear that anyone that breaks any of God’s commandments is guilty of sin. All of us have fallen short of the glory of God. The Bible gives a comprehensive list to make it clear that we have all sinned and fall short.

1 Cor 6 – 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals (Gk: arsenokoítēs, men in coitus), 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor those who verbally assault, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

As you can see. No one escapes God’s judgment. Anyone that wishes to point the finger at one sin in that list has several fingers pointing back at themselves.

But God gave the solution to sin in the very next verse of 1 Cor. 6. If you continue reading it says the following;

1 Cor. 6 – 11 And such were some of you: but you are washed, and you are sanctified (made holy), and you are justified in the name of the LORD Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

You have a choice. You can celebrate PRIDE and wave a rainbow banner that reminds us of God’s judgment (God created the rainbow to remind us of his judgment in the world wide flood and that His next judgment would be by fire.) or you can chose to humble yourself to the one that humbled himself even to the point of death. The Lord Jesus Christ both knew no sin and he did not exhibit pride. Rather than joining in, in Pride celebrations which are occurring in Canada this time of the year you could humble yourself and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and to come into your life and to make you the kind of person he wants you to be.

The Holocaust of children being killed in the womb.

01ff5b7Ray: We haven’t discussed this topic so far on our website. I thought I would repost a youtube video that was recommended to us which is a documentary styled video with the interviewer Ray Comfort. I would welcome your comments on this video. Perhaps we can start a discussion of our own about this. Do you think that Ray Comfort is correct in his analysis? Do you think he should approach people the way he does to ask them personal questions the way he does? In Canada if you are a Canadian, do you think that Christians should have the right to approach people the way that Ray does to ask them about their beliefs? Do you think that if your beliefs are challenged in this way that a “Hate Crime” has been committed? I ask this because our Land in Canada is filled with Hate / Think crime tribunals and kangaroo courts currently who think it is their business to protect your rights against the rights of others, including the rights of unborn children.

Please watch this video and give us your comments.

Ugandan president repents of personal, national sins

Ray: I am reposting this blog article as it relates to religion. In that one of the things being confessed is the adherence to secularism. Yes Secularism is a religion. The term “Secular Humanism” was first coined in the early 20th century. You may wish to read the “Secular Humanist Manifesto” at some point. It is a filled with the statements “We believe…”. One of those beliefs stated is in the philosophy called Evolution (It’s not a science). God says there are only 2 religions. One is the religion of recognizing Him and more specifically His only begotten Son as God and creator. The other religion is the religion of man. I also include this article because contrary to public opinion, politicians do influence and legislate morality. That is why religious beliefs are an important factor in how we are led as a nation (in whichever nation you are in.)

The Bible says “lean not unto your own understanding.” The ills of mankind all stem from attempts to lean on our own understanding and our rejection of God. It is refreshing to find that a politician is willing to confess the sins of himself and his country. If only more politicians would do this perhaps God would heal our land (In each of our respective countries) as He promises to do if we confess our sin.

2 Chronicles 7 – 14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Watch now to see what great things begin to happen in that country. Now is a good time to invest in Uganda for you investors out there.

The Ugandan newssite New Vision reports President Yoweri Museveni celebrated Uganda’s 50th anniversary of independence from Britain at the National Jubilee Prayers event by publicly repenting of his personal sin and the sins of the nation.

“I stand here today to close the evil past, and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness,” Museveni prayed.

“We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation. We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal,” Museveni said.

“Forgive us of sins of pride, tribalism and sectarianism; sins of laziness, indifference and irresponsibility; sins of corruption and bribery that have eroded our national resources; sins of sexual immorality, drunkenness and debauchery; sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred and revenge; sins of injustice, oppression and exploitation; sins of rebellion, insubordination, strife and conflict,” Museveni prayed.

Next, the president dedicated Uganda to God.
